This part-time Clinical Therapist role involves providing culturally responsive mental health services to children, adolescents, and their parents, with a strong commitment to high-quality care. The therapist will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain confidential client records.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide clinical counseling and support to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis and treatment documentation
- Facilitate telehealth sessions as needed, ensuring accessibility for all clients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support for clients
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the mental health field
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Fully licensed LPC or LCSW with experience in individual therapy with children
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to empathize with clients
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions
- Experience in conducting assessments and developing personalized treatment plans
