Provide in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population across skilled nursing, sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living facilities. This role focuses on clinical care without administrative burdens, offering work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
- Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist
- Effective oral and written communication in English
- Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities
- Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
Nice to Have
- Previous clinical experience in subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting
- History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders
- Experience in Psych or Addictions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
