Clinical Psychologist

About This Role

Provide in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population across skilled nursing, sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living facilities. This role focuses on clinical care without administrative burdens, offering work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist
• Effective oral and written communication in English
• Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities
• Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution

Nice to Have

• Previous clinical experience in subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting
• History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders
• Experience in Psych or Addictions
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
