Provide direct patient care as a Clinical Nurse (RN) in Pre-Post Care, utilizing evidence-based practices and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient well-being and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care to patients based on evidence-based practices and professional standards
- Perform all steps of the nursing process, including assessing, interpreting data, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
- Coordinate care with other providers and educate patients and families on managing care and preventing complications
- Partner with patient's family to deliver family-centered care
- Monitor the quality of nursing care provided
- Maintain professional development, including licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Contribute to the nursing profession through teaching and sharing expertise
- Establish therapeutic relationships and create a climate conducive to healing
- Diagnose and monitor patient conditions, determining nursing diagnoses and evaluating data
- Teach patients and staff members information for self-care and illness prevention
- Respond quickly and appropriately to rapidly changing situations and activate emergency protocols
- Monitor own practices for patient and employee safety and compliance to standards and policies
- Integrate multiple requests and work expectations by setting priorities and delegating tasks appropriately
- Utilize available technology for communication, documentation, and information retrieval
- Evaluate own nursing practice in relation to professional standards and regulations
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
Nice to Have
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (if required by cost center)
