This role delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Main Operating Room, following established policies and professional guidelines. The Clinical Nurse plans and implements patient care, documents assessments, and ensures patient rights while contributing to the mission and vision of Tampa General Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to patients
- Plan and implement nursing care
- Document nursing assessments
- Identify and report situations requiring further intervention
- Formulate and communicate goal-directed plan of care
- Assure patient rights
- Perform job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN or ASN
Nice to Have
- Experience as a circulating nurse
- Robotics experience
