This Clinical Internship program provides graduate students with training and clinical supervision in evidence-based practices to prepare them for professional work in mental health and social services. Interns will gain foundational knowledge and skills to work competently within the mental health system.
Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention
- Conduct individual therapy
- Facilitate group therapy sessions
- Provide family therapy
- Perform intake assessments
- Handle case management
- Coordinate services with law enforcement and multi-providers
- Develop community presentations and supports
Requirements
- Enrollment in an accredited professional graduate school for a master's degree in social work or marriage family therapy
- Ability to commit to 12 months for the internship
- Minimum of 20 hours per week availability
Qualifications
- Master's level degree in social work or marriage family therapy from an accredited professional graduate school
