Clinical Internship

About This Role

This Clinical Internship program provides graduate students with training and clinical supervision in evidence-based practices to prepare them for professional work in mental health and social services. Interns will gain foundational knowledge and skills to work competently within the mental health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention
• Conduct individual therapy
• Facilitate group therapy sessions
• Provide family therapy
• Perform intake assessments
• Handle case management
• Coordinate services with law enforcement and multi-providers
• Develop community presentations and supports

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited professional graduate school for a master's degree in social work or marriage family therapy
• Ability to commit to 12 months for the internship
• Minimum of 20 hours per week availability

Qualifications

• Master's level degree in social work or marriage family therapy from an accredited professional graduate school
