Clinical Educator (RN/RRT)

About This Role

Educate Registered Nurses and Physicians on Pulse Oximetry Devices in a per-diem capacity across Florida, utilizing clinical expertise without direct patient care responsibilities. This role supports medical device implementations and gathers feedback to improve products.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff on medical devices
• Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate to deliver positive educational experiences
• Utilize clinical/nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with medical devices
• Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments
• Provide clinical and professional expertise to end users in a setting without patient care responsibilities
• Provide customer feedback to corporate teams to improve new and existing medical devices
• Serve as an education resource on particular medical devices

Requirements

• Active and unencumbered RN license OR RRT License
• 2+ years ICU, Oncology, ER and/or critical care unit experience within past 5 years (for RNs)
• 3+ years ICU, ER, and/or Critical Care Unit experience within past 5 years (for RRTs)
• Comfortable with basic software programs
• Intermediate computer skills

Qualifications

• BSN highly preferred for RNs
• 2+ years ICU, Oncology, ER and/or critical care unit experience (for RNs); 3+ years ICU, ER, and/or Critical Care Unit experience (for RRTs)

Nice to Have

• Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor)
• Experience working with IV pumps
• Super-user/pump education experience
