Manage all aspects of timely and accurate data management for clinical trials in melanoma and skin cancer, ensuring compliance with national and international regulatory legislations and Good Clinical Practice. The role involves developing database templates, implementing quality assurance activities, and performing data cleaning and validation.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of timely and accurate data management in compliance with national and international regulatory legislations relating to medical information and Good Clinical Practice
- Develop database templates and trial data management processes
- Implement quality assurance activities
- Perform data cleaning and data validation to ensure robust datasets
- Communicate and collaborate to build relationships and manage each project with MASC Trials stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of research output including publications and presentations
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, Life Sciences or equivalent with substantial relevant professional experience
- Experience in clinical trial data management
- Experience in the use of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) Software such as REDCap, including data validation and cleaning, building databases and data extractions (reports/queries)
- Proactive and solution-focused attitude towards problem-solving
- Accuracy, strong attention to detail, highly developed organisational skills and proven ability to establish priorities, manage tasks, exercise sound judgement and work to multiple, tight and conflicting deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, Life Sciences or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in clinical trial data management
Nice to Have
- Experience writing code to extract and analyse data efficiently
