Cleaner Lead

About This Role

Oversee work teams and assigned areas to ensure cleaning tasks comply with Servicon's quality standards and client's scope of work. This role involves training new associates, performing inspections, and promoting safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding and training new associates on safety programs, company policies, cleaning procedures, and equipment maintenance
• Ensure strict compliance with Servicon and client's policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism and responsiveness
• Inspect assigned work areas during and after completion to verify compliance with site-specific procedures and customer scope of work
• Verify completion of log sheets for restrooms, clean rooms, or other areas to established quality standards
• Promote safety to team members, ensuring proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage
• Perform all custodial work according to Servicon’s cleaning procedures
• Assist Supervisor(s) in motivating staff, fostering a positive work environment, and reporting issues
• Assist supervisors in resolving custodial problems and recommend changes to work schedules for efficiency
• Ensure supplies are available and distributed, equipment is in good working order, and reported for timely repair
• Help inventory, distribute, and monitor utilization of janitorial cleaning materials for cost-effectiveness

Requirements

• 2 years custodial cleaning experience in a lead role, or equivalent experience
• Proficient verbal/written communication skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 years custodial cleaning experience in a lead role, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Specialized training in Cleanroom, Electro Static Discharge (ESD) and other specialty service policies and procedures
• Certification in specialized equipment
