Civil Litigation Paralegal

About This Role

This role is for a highly experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of 8 years in complex civil litigation and trial work. The position involves e-discovery, document management, drafting pleadings, and conducting thorough legal research.

Responsibilities

• Manage e-discovery and other discovery production processes
• Perform document review and management
• Draft pleadings and discovery documents
• Conduct background research and locate/search court records in various jurisdictions
• Manage public records searches and FOIA/Public Records Act requests for state and federal agencies
• Handle e-filing/filing and calendaring in Washington state and federal courts, including local rules
• Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person
• Demonstrate high organizational and coordinating skills
• Comply with confidentiality obligations and firm policies

Requirements

• 8+ years of complex civil litigation/trial experience
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with e-discovery and other discovery production
• Expertise in Washington state and federal court rules, e-filing/filing, and calendaring
• Advanced computing skills, proficient in Office 365 (including SharePoint)
