Civil Engineering Professional Associate

About This Role

This role involves civil engineering design and analysis, focusing on site development, utility routing, and storm drain systems. The professional associate will ensure designs adhere to local authority requirements and utilize software for stormwater modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development, site master planning and site selection
• Conduct underground utility routing and site space planning
• Execute hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems
• Analyze and design gravitational wastewater systems
• Perform final grading plans including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing
• Provide erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans and support permit approval
• Research and adhere to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction
• Conduct stormwater analysis and modeling in software applications, such as StormCAD, CivilStorm

Requirements

• 4-8 years experience
• PE or ability to attain PE
• Advanced Civil 3D skills

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of civil engineering experience
