The Child Support Liaison supports noncustodial parents by connecting them with employment, training, and supportive services to achieve long-term self-sufficiency. This role acts as the primary link between FSC W-2 programs and local Child Support Agencies, fostering relationships and coordinating referrals to various workforce programs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between FSC W-2 programs and Child Support Agencies (CSA)
- Build and maintain relationships with CSA staff and community partners supporting noncustodial parents
- Identify and connect low-income noncustodial parents to employment and training services
- Coordinate referrals to workforce programs, including W-2, Transitional Jobs (TJ), Trial Employment Match Program (TEMP), FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET), WIOA, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Veterans Employment Programs
- Collaborate with FSC staff to ensure coordinated service delivery and positive employment outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and support program compliance
Requirements
- Associate degree and two years of related experience, or equivalent combination
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent combination
- 2 years of related experience with an Associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Nice to Have
- Experience in workforce development, employment services, or human services
