Chief Information Officer

About This Role

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, aligning their technology needs with business goals through IT planning, budget formulation, and digital transformation initiatives. This role involves advising client IT departments and driving innovation to achieve business success.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with principals, owners, and key stakeholders in client organizations
• Understand technology business drivers in client organizations
• Develop strategic technology roadmaps and provide budget planning expertise to clients
• Implement digital transformation initiatives in client environments
• Educate clients on technology trends, risks, and opportunities
• Perform technical business consulting and analyze clients' business processes
• Lead technical discussions with the GXA team and clients regarding business and technology roadmaps
• Work with clients and other GXA functions on project scoping and management
• Look for opportunities to surpass clients' expectations

Requirements

• 10+ years related experience, managing IT in the small/medium business market
• Ability to tie IT strategy to business goals
• Knowledge of technology trends
• Firm grasp of IT project planning and management
• Experience in the IT budgeting process
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with executive level leaders
• High degree of business awareness and commercial acumen
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills with great attention to detail
• Effective communication and negotiation skills with all levels

Qualifications

• 10+ years related experience managing IT in the small/medium business market

Nice to Have

• Strong software and applications knowledge and how it impacts SMB market
• Prior hands-on technical experience (understanding of technical concepts/methodologies)
