Chemist, PhD

About This Role

This role is for a PhD-level Chemist to annotate, map, and review advanced chemistry data and AI-generated solutions. This position will contribute to the development of training datasets for AI models in various chemistry subfields.

Responsibilities

• Accurately label and categorize advanced chemistry questions, specialized concepts, scientific diagrams, experimental data, and other domain-specific content
• Synthesize and connect complex chemical principles, establishing nuanced relationships between specialized topics to help AI models comprehend the field's depth and structure
• Critically analyze and verify AI-generated answers to advanced chemistry questions and research-level problems, identifying errors and providing detailed, constructive feedback
• Design and curate comprehensive training datasets that encompass a wide spectrum of chemistry subfields and levels of complexity

Requirements

• PhD in chemistry (or a closely related field) with demonstrated expertise in research, teaching, or advanced problem-solving
• Experience developing or critically reviewing sophisticated scientific, technical, or educational content
• Ability to communicate advanced chemical concepts with clarity and translate abstract theory into practical application

• Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training or model evaluation projects
