About This Role

Join the Hilton Omaha culinary team as a Chef in Training at Nick's Quorum Bar & Supper Club, a fresh interpretation of a classic Midwestern supper club. This role involves executing prep work, line cooking, and maintaining kitchen standards to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities

• Execute prep work and line cooking duties with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with kitchen standards
• Cook and plate menu items to specification during brunch and dinner service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Communicate effectively with the Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth service and accurate execution
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory following proper food-safety procedures
• Follow all kitchen safety protocols and uphold brand and quality standards at all times
• Adapt to schedule variations, including weekends and holidays, and reliably report to shifts with dependable transportation

Requirements

• 2+ years of cooking experience
• 1+ year in a high-volume kitchen
• Self-driven with ability to independently work the grill during fast-paced service
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule
• Professional, team-oriented attitude
• Commitment to maintaining high culinary standards

Qualifications

• At least two years of cooking experience, including one year in a high-volume kitchen
