The Changeover Crew sets up and breaks down equipment, staging, and furniture for various events, ensuring the arena is ready for multiple uses. This role also involves performing cleaning duties and maintaining exterior grounds, contributing to the overall functional and aesthetic upkeep of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Set up, move, and remove chairs, risers, staging, sports equipment, tables, and supplies
- Load and unload supplies and equipment for events
- Perform various cleaning functions including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Maintain exterior building grounds
- Operate motorized equipment such as forklifts, auto-scrubbers, and pallet jacks
- Properly handle and return tools to storage upon task completion
- Assist in various project work as needed
- Maintain open communication with the Supervisor at all times
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to properly operate tools
- Ability to interpret and carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work on irregular surfaces
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required
Nice to Have
- Previous maintenance/changeover experience
- Previous forklift experience
