About This Role

Assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures as a Certified Surgical Technologist. This role ensures patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and supporting the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients
• Prepare the operating room
• Sterilize equipment
• Provide support to the surgical team

Requirements

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR technician / Surg Tech in a surgical environment

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment; For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
