Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA

About This Role

This role is for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Dayton Children's Hospital, working under the supervision of a staff Anesthesiologist to provide optimum care for neonatal/pediatric patients within the Department of Surgical Services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as certified registered anesthestist (CRNA) within the Division of Anesthesia servicing Department of Surgical Services
• Utilize specialized knowledge, skill, research and competency acquired through advanced professional training to promote optimum care of patients and families within the neonatal/pediatric population
• Utilize pre-operative assessments performed by the supervising staff Anesthesiologist to devise a plan for anesthetic induction, maintenance and emergence

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Graduation from an accredited AANA program
• CRNA certification
• Licensure in the State of Ohio
• PALS certification
• Communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Good manual dexterity
• Physical and emotional stamina

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• New graduates accepted; 1-3 years neonatal/pediatric experience preferred
