Join a hospice team as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Hospice Aide in Summerville, SC, to provide compassionate hands-on care and comfort to patients at the end of life. This role ensures high-quality support in patients' homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Case Manager and Clinical Manager.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care services including bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, and respiration)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Ensure proper nutrition and hydration, including meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team
- Apply safety principles and proper body mechanics when assisting with mobility
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow established procedures
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide certification in South Carolina
- At least 1 year of experience providing personal care
- A compassionate and patient-focused mindset
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance
- Commitment to upholding the dignity and comfort of every patient
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience providing personal care (hospice or home health experience preferred)
