Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Extended Care

About This Role

Provide essential assistance and comfort to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their healthcare journey. This role supports the compassionate care given by the medical team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental and infection control standards
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, SAO2, respiration pulse, pain and weight, and I&O’s
• Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, oral care, shaving, dressing, eating, bed pans, and transportation
• Maintain resident documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and unit care data
• Demonstrate sensitivity to resident comfort and privacy
• Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings as requested
• Attend continuing education courses related to area of specialization to remain current in the field

Requirements

• High School graduate
• Current CA CNA license
• CPR Certificate
