Certified Friction Crane Operator

About This Role

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Certified Friction Crane Operator to operate a 260-ton Manitowoc 4000W crane and perform related duties outside the cab. This role requires high-volume, quality work in a safety-conscious environment and effective communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 260-ton Manitowoc 4000W (or similar) friction crane
• Perform related duties outside the crane cab as needed
• Effectively communicate with boat captains, foremen, and laborers
• Assist with laborer duties as needed

Requirements

• Experience operating a 260-ton Manitowoc 4000W friction crane (or similar)
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Good operational skills for high volume quality work
• Effective communication skills with team members
• Willingness to perform duties outside the crane cab

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Experienced in operating a 260-ton Manitowoc 4000W (or similar) friction crane; prior experience operating cranes on water is preferred.
