Central Station Monitor

About This Role

Serve as a Central Station Monitor in a high-volume call center, providing support for alarm monitoring and access control calls. This role involves customer communication, data entry, and working with internal teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional decorum at all times
• Inform customers when alarms are triggered at their site and the status of the alarm
• Record interactions with customers
• Request updates to customer's accounts when errors are discovered
• Work with internal teams to identify potential issues and work to resolve issues
• Process incoming calls accurately to employees or departments
• Understand and disseminate information about the company's capabilities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Type a minimum of 35WPM
• 1-2 years Data entry experience
• Experience with a multi-line phone or soft phone use
• Ability to pass any state required training or other qualifications for licensing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of data entry experience required; 1-3 years of customer service preferred; Minimum 1 year high volume call center or 911 communications preferred

Nice to Have

• 1-3 years of customer service experience
• Minimum 1 year high volume call center or 911 communications experience
• Certified training or knowledge of Access Control, Fire, and Burglary systems
