About This Role

This role will lead the transformation of Baseten's Go-To-Market (GTM) engine, designing it from the ground up to align with the company's scaling needs and leverage AI to fundamentally change how revenue operations function. The Central Revenue Operations Lead will build and own the operational foundation of the GTM engine, driving pre- and post-sales execution.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the operational foundation of Baseten's GTM engine, driving pre and post-sales execution
  • Document, standardize, govern, and continuously improve core GTM processes across the full customer lifecycle
  • Design systems to define and scale AI/human workflows/agents where appropriate
  • Implement sales methodologies within operations, leveraging AI-powered workflows to streamline execution
  • Create scalable processes that support Baseten's growth trajectory
  • Break down silos between marketing, sales, and CS data to create a unified data foundation
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards for clean, reliable data across all GTM systems
  • Democratize analytics and insights to empower the revenue organization
  • Build automated intelligence loops that continuously learn and adjust targeting, messaging, and resource allocation
  • Design and maintain data models that support AI-driven forecasting, pipeline analysis, and performance tracking
  • Build and own a comprehensive, always up-to-date data strategy for Baseten’s ICP / TAM / contact database
  • Lead design, implementation, and optimization of the core GTM technology stack
  • Administer Baseten’s current tech stack, ensuring proper function and ROI
  • Build sophisticated automation and AI-powered workflows to eliminate manual work and improve rep productivity
  • Develop and run an agile product development process for the GTM technology stack
  • Document frameworks, publish learnings, and build intellectual property defining the next era of GTM
  • Enable and evangelize existing and new processes to ensure customer-facing roles are experts
  • Serve as internal expert on AI-native revenue operations and evangelize best practices
  • Contribute to industry discourse on the future of revenue operations
  • Manage and build a team of world-class RevOps specialists

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Revenue Operations or Sales Operations experience at a B2B SaaS and/or AI-native company
  • Deep understanding of foundational GTM tools (SFDC, Slack, HubSpot, Outreach or equivalent, Gong)
  • AI fluency, understanding what's possible with LLMs, automation tools, and AI agents, and ability to evaluate vendors and architect solutions
  • Systems thinking, viewing the GTM function as an interconnected system
  • Builder mentality, energized by ambiguity and greenfield problems, preferring to create new solutions while having a clear sense of when to build versus buy
  • Executive presence, able to translate technical concepts and operational details to various audiences
  • Intellectual curiosity about the future of GTM
  • Proven track record managing teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Revenue Operations or Sales Operations experience

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in AI infrastructure, developer tools, or infrastructure-as-a-service companies with consumption models
