CDL Hazmat Driver

About This Role

This role involves transporting bulk and packaged products to customer job sites, operating vehicles to manufacture and deliver products into blast holes, and providing general blast crew labor as needed. The driver is responsible for safety and compliance, close collaboration with team members, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and compliance in all daily responsibilities
• Work closely with location and crew members to provide exceptional customer service
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring products are handled, transported, and stored according to policy and regulations
• Work outdoors in all types of weather, lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more of product and material on a regular basis
• Pull hoses, shovel, and frequently walk, bend, or squat
• Attend training and demonstrate knowledge and competence of vehicle operating systems and product application
• Work overtime to meet customer objectives

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must possess a valid CDL license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and current medical certification
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and handle physically demanding work outdoors on a daily basis
• Ability to work under various weather conditions on rough terrain
• Self-motivated, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic
