CDL B Driver

About This Role

Safely operate a box truck to shuttle airplane parts for local operations, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. This role involves maintaining documentation and performing pre and post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, transfer, and deliver freight utilizing a box truck and/or other equipment
• Move product in a 26-foot box truck
• Operate material handling equipment to load and unload materials in a safe manner
• Maintain required documentation, including daily logs, vehicle inspection records, mileage, unloading and shipping records
• Conduct thorough and accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspections and provide documentation upon completion; ensure proper closure of trailers
• Provide basic equipment maintenance and report equipment malfunctions as necessary
• Properly secure loads and ensure all loads are within weight limits

Requirements

• CDL A or B CDL
• 6-12+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• 6 months of experience with a 26 ft Box Truck or larger
• Current DOT Med Card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Qualifications

• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience; 6 months of experience with a 26 ft Box Truck or larger
