About This Role

This Cashier role involves greeting customers, handling cash transactions, and providing excellent service to ensure smooth facility operations. The position requires reliability and strong customer interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service
• Collect parking fees and provide correct change
• Understand and know how to handle different types of parkers
• Understand the surroundings and building area to answer questions
• Complete the daily report
• Assist in staffing the exit or entry booth during peak collection hours
• Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors
• Answer customer service questions concerning parking and general inquiries
• Determine traffic flow in times of equipment failure or during periods of construction
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and timeliness

Requirements

• Strong customer service experience
• Cash handling experience
• Proficient in basic math
• Good at communicating professionally and effectively
• Able to work in an unsupervised setting
• Ability to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language
• Ability to make decisions independently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Strong customer service experience; cash handling experience is required; parking industry experience preferred.
