Case Manager Assistant

About This Role

Assist Case Managers in various tasks related to personal injury claims, including file opening, initial investigation, client communication for property damage, and adjuster communication for advanced investigations.

Responsibilities

• Open client files and send Letters of Representation (LORs)
• Send correspondence to clients, insurance companies, and defendants
• Request and review investigative reports such as Traffic Collision Reports (TCRs) and incident logs
• Utilize ACT for task and time management
• Assist Case Managers with daily tasks
• Confirm policy coverages and information during initial investigation
• Prepare written DMV and adjuster correspondence for Case Manager review
• Perform asset, DMV, and policy limit searches
• Schedule vehicle inspections, repairs, and rentals for property damage
• Discuss property damage handling with clients
• Identify all claimants and defendants in various scenarios
• Obtain recorded statements and schedule investigator and expert inspections
• Communicate with adjusters regarding liability
