Caregiver with Dementia Experience - Driver

About This Role

Improve the quality of life for clients living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia by providing non-medical companionship care, focusing on person-centered and activity-based services. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow customized care plans designed to meet clients' fundamental needs as their disease progresses
• Assist clients with ADLs and personal care activities, including hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to and from outings and appointments using own vehicle
• Document completion of tasks and promptly communicate changes in client's physical condition, mental capacity, or behavior

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of professional caregiving experience
• Minimum of 6 months of Dementia care experience
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Valid Driver's License and vehicle with current registration and insurance
• Reliable means of transportation to get to and from work
• Ability to pass a background check
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Home Care Aide Registration

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of professional caregiving experience and 6 months of Dementia care experience
