Provide essential in-home care for elderly clients in Marana, assisting with daily tasks, personal care, and emotional support. This weekend position offers a flexible schedule to balance weekday commitments while making a meaningful difference in seniors' lives.
Responsibilities
- Drive seniors to appointments, meetings, and church services
- Assist seniors with shopping at local markets
- Provide companionship, such as going to lunch or grabbing ice cream
- Assist with bathing and grooming to maintain dignity
- Manage incontinence care to prevent embarrassment
- Perform light housekeeping duties to reduce stress
- Prepare meals to maintain vitality
- Provide medication reminders to avoid hospital readmissions
- Implement memory care safety measures to keep seniors out of danger
- Assist with physical therapy exercises
- Act as an observer and reporter for hospice care changes
- Report changes in client condition
Requirements
- Genuine desire to work with seniors
- Ability to work 4-hour to 12-hour shifts on weekends
- Reliable Car
- Proof of auto insurance
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass drug screening test
- Negative TB test
