Business Portfolio Lead

About This Role

This role focuses on understanding market trends and best practices within a functional area. The individual will work with functional leadership to identify business transformation opportunities and develop a roadmap for specific applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct advice to business leaders on the evolution of core technology for their functional area
• Work with functional leadership to scope high priority work and identify ROI/business cases for associated technical work
• Develop the application roadmap for the core application, decomposing it into phases and steps
• Identify specific process needs, gaps, pain points, and resulting projects aligned with the strategic roadmap
• Lead business analysis to design solutions for business issues, leveraging native solution capabilities
• Oversee development, testing, integration, and implementation of technical solutions for an area
• Act as a trusted partner to functional area leadership, guiding them through technology-driven transformations
• Lead business team leads through technology-driven transformation, partnering to drive change

Requirements

• 3-5 years related experience working with Information Systems
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in both written and oral forms
• Ability to lead teams through a change in direction
• Ability to lead effective action without all the facts
• Efficiently & creatively solves difficult, complex problems
• History and knowledge of data analysis

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related experience working with Information Systems; experience in multiple systems a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience in multiple systems (Gainsight, Salesforce)
