Direct and manage the overall Business Office activities for a long-term care facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Oversee crucial financial and resident-related tasks, including census records and billing processes.
Responsibilities
- Follow the PCC daily, weekly, and month-end close task lists
- Ensure completion of the Daily Census Verification process
- Ensure timely recording of all room, ancillary, and miscellaneous charges in PCC
- Ensure the RUG Billing Triple Check Process is followed continuously
- Manage private pay billing and ensure the Centralized Statement process is followed
- Manage Medicare ADRs and appeals per established procedure
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Effective communication skills
- Current knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma required; Associates Degree in Business or Accounting fields preferred
- Experience in business office operations in long term care or healthcare related field, preferred.
