About This Role

Direct and manage the overall Business Office activities for a long-term care facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Oversee crucial financial and resident-related tasks, including census records and billing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the PCC daily, weekly, and month-end close task lists
  • Ensure completion of the Daily Census Verification process
  • Ensure timely recording of all room, ancillary, and miscellaneous charges in PCC
  • Ensure the RUG Billing Triple Check Process is followed continuously
  • Manage private pay billing and ensure the Centralized Statement process is followed
  • Manage Medicare ADRs and appeals per established procedure

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Effective communication skills
  • Current knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations

Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma required; Associates Degree in Business or Accounting fields preferred
  • Experience in business office operations in long term care or healthcare related field, preferred.
