About This Role

Lead business development and sales efforts for heavy industrial construction services within the oil & gas and petrochemical industries. Secure new accounts, cultivate client relationships, and drive profitability and market penetration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and market penetration
  • Contact and secure new business accounts and customers
  • Promote, sell, and secure contracts from existing and prospective customers
  • Demonstrate products and services to customers and assist them in selecting best-suited options
  • Identify new prospects and convert new business using innovative approaches
  • Conduct business development through sales calls and visits
  • Provide customer support and resolve issues timely
  • Cultivate lasting customer relationships and understand business needs to grow loyalty
  • Analyze customer needs and develop proposals
  • Implement overall sales strategy for the business

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ sales experience with proven success in prior sales roles
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within heavy industrial construction, EPC, or industrial services environments
  • Demonstrated success selling construction or project-based services (NOT PRODUCTS)
  • Strong understanding of oil & gas, petrochemical, power, LNG, or midstream industrial markets
  • Experience selling mechanical, piping, electrical, civil, fabrication, maintenance, or capital project services
  • Proven ability to develop long-term client relationships leading to repeat and negotiated work
  • Working knowledge of the industrial construction lifecycle (pre-FEED/FEED, estimating, proposal development, project execution)
  • Ability to collaborate closely with estimating, project management, operations, and executive leadership
  • Strong understanding of construction risk, safety performance, labor availability, and execution capabilities
  • Experience gaining contractor access to approved bidder lists, MSAs, alliance agreements, or preferred contractor programs
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field/experience
  • 10+ years’ sales experience with proven success in prior sales roles

  • Mission-Critical Infrastructure experience
