About This Role

This Business Development Leader will drive new logo acquisition and expand strategic accounts within the Manufacturing and Industrial sectors in the U.S. They will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders, shaping Data, Analytics, and AI-led transformation agendas for clients. The role involves identifying and closing net-new enterprise accounts, as well as growing existing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end new logo sales for Manufacturing and Industrial enterprises, from prospect identification through deal closure
  • Build and execute a targeted new-logo strategy, including white-space analysis, account prioritization, and stakeholder mapping
  • Engage CXO-level and senior business/technology leaders to uncover unmet needs and position Data, Analytics, and AI services as strategic enablers
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles involving Data/AI solutioning, commercial structuring, and executive-level negotiations
  • Partner with pre-sales, solutions, and delivery teams to craft differentiated Data, Analytics, and AI value propositions and compelling business cases
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic Manufacturing and Industrial accounts, driving incremental revenue through cross-sell and upsell of Data and AI services
  • Develop and own account plans and multi-year growth roadmaps aligned to clients’ digital, analytics, and AI priorities
  • Expand footprint across functions, plants, regions, and buying centers by deepening executive and operational relationships
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for accounts, ensuring delivery alignment, measurable ROI, and long-term partnership value
  • Forecast revenue accurately and manage pipeline, budgets, renewals, and expansions with rigor
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader on Data, Analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation within Manufacturing and Industrial enterprises
  • Mentor and coach internal solution consultants and account teams on Data/AI-led selling and value articulation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with alliances, partners, and internal practices to accelerate deal velocity and expand solution breadth
  • Run marketing campaign and industry events

Requirements

  • Proven track record in enterprise sales of Data, Analytics, and AI services within Manufacturing and/or Industrial sectors
  • Demonstrated success in new logo hunting and closing complex, multi-year, high-value services deals
  • Strong experience selling analytics platforms, data engineering, AI/ML solutions, or digital transformation programs
  • Ability to navigate complex commercial structures, contracts, pricing models, and associated legal and business risks
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics architectures, and AI-driven business use cases

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 12-15 years of experience in Data, Analytics, AI/ML, IT services, or management consulting

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience closely working with channel partners such as Snowflake, Databricks, or GCP
