The Business Coach/Consultant will help small to mid-sized business owners increase profit, efficiency, and company value to prepare for a successful sale, utilizing a proprietary consulting method. This role involves building client relationships, conducting 1:1 sessions, and leveraging partnerships with M&A professionals.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with exit planning partners such as lawyers, accountants, financial planners, and business brokers
- Conduct outreach to business owners through networking, direct mail, cold calls, and other prospecting methods
- Conduct 1:1 consulting sessions with clients following the Exit Factor system
- Provide additional resources from the online curriculum to enhance client sessions
- Participate in initial training and certification, and ongoing continuing education
Requirements
- Customer-facing role experience or love for customer interaction
- Exceptional verbal and written communication with strong phone skills
- Enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and business
- Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, driven, strong desire to succeed, competitive, committed to accomplishing objectives, opportunistic
- Time management and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency, including conducting Zoom presentation meetings
Nice to Have
- Personal exit or sale experience
- Previous business consulting/coaching experience
- Related exit strategy or M&A experience
