The Business Analyst, EPMO will support the analysis of business-critical initiatives by gathering requirements, analyzing current workflows, and driving client-centric solutions for a global client base within the financial services sector. This role involves close collaboration with various internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery activities to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements for new change initiatives.
- Engage and motivate global business and technology teams across multiple business areas and time zones.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to elicit business requirements and manage them throughout the lifecycle for small to medium-sized projects.
- Support business and technology teams in the design and development of solutions that meet business needs.
- Analyze and map current versus target state business processes, supporting business stakeholders in managing changes.
- Ensure solutions align with compliance, control, and data governance standards.
- Present and explain business or technical ideas to an audience unfamiliar with the subject.
- Track and report the status of tasks, issues, risks, and milestones under analysis.
Requirements
- 3+ Years business analysis experience on cross-functional projects in financial services.
- Knowledge of the trade lifecycle, client onboarding and financial instruments.
- Experience working on regulatory (e.g. Basel III, Dodd Frank, MiFID II) and operational change projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle and project governance processes.
