Perform maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of a UPS package handling facility, requiring a strong electrical background and the ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical equipment
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace pneumatic equipment
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace hydraulic equipment
- Weld equipment such as handrails, conveyor supports, package handling equipment, carts, and grating
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment including conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial equipment
Requirements
- Strong electrical background
- Pass electrical assessment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S.
