Branch Operations Intern

About This Role

Participate in a Branch Operations Internship program focusing on the daily functions and operations of a finance branch, encompassing sales, customer service, compliance, and loan processes. This role offers real-world experience and a potential path to full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and undergo an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn loan processes and regulatory training
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings
• Allocate files for document preparation, audit closed files, and prepare files for funding
• Learn about Manager and Regional Vice President responsibilities to understand promotional paths
• Attend regional meetings and workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division
• Learn about Branch Operations process improvement projects
• Gain insight into corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are desired

Requirements

• Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field
• Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing
