This role manages bookkeeping, payroll, and HR administration, supporting leadership with accurate reporting and coordination for a financial group. The ideal candidate will take ownership of these processes with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payment processors, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll, review payroll taxes, and manage employee changes
- Administer HR functions, including onboarding/offboarding, compliance tracking, policy support, and employee files
- Coordinate benefits and oversee timekeeping
- Review customer invoices and manage collections follow-up
- Prepare financial statements, reporting schedules, and documentation for CPA and auditors
- Maintain vendor records, contracts, renewals, and payment schedules
- Support leadership with operational tasks, communication follow-up, and administrative coordination
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong payroll and HR administration background
- Proficient in QuickBooks (Online)
- Proficient in Excel
- Proficient in cloud-based tools
- Highly organized
- Detail-oriented
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication standards
- Confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
