Lead back-of-house operations for a restaurant, ensuring efficient food service, maintaining cleanliness, and managing kitchen staff and inventory while reporting to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food service operations and preparation
- Establish and maintain product rotation
- Establish and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Understand and execute Peoria Health Department's criteria for a clean and safe restaurant
- Establish and maintain quality food service at Brienzo’s Pizza + Bar - Orange Prairie
- Take inventory and manage all food product ordering
- Manage and oversee food delivery check-in
- Manage and train kitchen staff
- Own all back-of-house cleaning procedures and policies
- Liaise with front of house personnel and management for seamless workflow
- Act as a team leader in the delegation of tasks to kitchen shift leads
- Own the entire life cycle of dough management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a kitchen manager or leader in a restaurant
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
- Ability to motivate staff to provide high-quality service
- Excellent communication skills with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Open availability during the week and on weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a kitchen manager or leader in a restaurant.

- Strong understanding of restaurant management software (RSTU)
