The Boarding Assistant will contribute to providing high-quality, progressive, and compassionate care to animals staying at Superior Animal Hospital and Boarding Suites. This role involves monitoring animal health, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the health and comfort of boarding animals
- Document all treatments and medications given to animals
- Walk dogs and clean up after them in all types of weather
- Feed and provide fresh water to dogs and cats on schedule
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Bathe animals as needed and before they go home
- Provide excellent customer service, including checking patients in and out for boarding
- Recognize undesirable stress in boarding patients and encourage mental stimulation with interactive play time
- Work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
