Boarding Assistant

About This Role

The Boarding Assistant will contribute to providing high-quality, progressive, and compassionate care to animals staying at Superior Animal Hospital and Boarding Suites. This role involves monitoring animal health, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and comfort of boarding animals
• Document all treatments and medications given to animals
• Walk dogs and clean up after them in all types of weather
• Feed and provide fresh water to dogs and cats on schedule
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Bathe animals as needed and before they go home
• Provide excellent customer service, including checking patients in and out for boarding
• Recognize undesirable stress in boarding patients and encourage mental stimulation with interactive play time
• Work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
