This is a contract role for a Bilingual Seasonal Tax Preparer to assist individuals and small businesses with tax return preparation and compliance during tax season.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing individual and small business tax returns
- Review financial documents
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws
- Interact with clients
- Provide timely and accurate information
- Help resolve tax-related inquiries
Requirements
- Proficiency in Tax Preparation, Tax Law, and general knowledge of Tax concepts
- Understanding of Financial Statements and Finance
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines
- Prior experience in tax preparation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in tax preparation is a must
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Drake Software
