Bilingual Recruiting Specialist

About This Role

This role involves leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for a home care services organization in Sarasota, FL, focusing on attracting and onboarding compassionate caregivers. The specialist will develop local sourcing strategies, manage the applicant tracking system, conduct interviews, and coordinate onboarding to ensure a smooth hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Build applicant pools through outreach to community organizations, schools, and hiring events
• Screen and interview candidates; extend offers to qualified applicants
• Complete onboarding tasks including background checks, E-Verify, and new hire paperwork
• Guide new hires through onboarding to ensure compliance and a strong first impression
• Lead two weekly New Hire Orientation sessions (one in English, one in Spanish)
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Support reputation efforts by encouraging reviews from new hires
• Track and report hiring metrics for assigned locations

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Experience in high-volume recruiting
• Comfortable presenting and leading small groups (orientation sessions)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient with computers and applicant tracking systems
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
• Experience in high-volume recruiting. Experience with independent contractor (1099) registries is a plus
