Provide information and solutions to customers regarding bank products and services via telephone, e-mail, and chat. This role focuses on retaining and enhancing existing customer relationships and developing new ones.
Responsibilities
- Answer all inquiries about products, services, policies, and procedures, including deposit rates
- Promote and refer bank products and services to customers
- Provide bank balances, transactions, and other account-related information
- Quickly de-escalate potential conflicts and respond calmly to customer's distress
- Demonstrate organizational and problem-solving skills, taking ownership of customer issues
- Stay informed about company products, services, and information systems
- Meet referral and sales goals by recommending beneficial products and services
- Assist with other functions as necessary, offering creative solutions to problems
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and chat
- Demonstrate ability to multitask and adapt to changing departmental needs
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year retail, office, bank or other customer service experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice to Have
- Spanish speaking/bilingual preference
