Beverage Server

About This Role

Serve beverages to patrons in a timely manner while maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring guest safety, and handling situations arising from intoxication.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from patrons and return them in a timely manner
• Keep the service area clean and orderly
• Understand patron limitations and company policy regarding visible intoxication
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers
• Acquire knowledge of all bar equipment and use of POS system
• Handle situations that may arise due to intoxication
• Communicate effectively with all departments and fellow employees
• Apply knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling
• Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information
• Follow company and department policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, professional personal appearance, uniform, and nametag

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, and comparable experience preferred
