This role assists bartenders and cocktail staff by maintaining bar cleanliness, stocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced casino environment. The helper ensures proper bar setup and sanitation. This position requires strong verbal and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders and cocktail staff in the performance of their duties
- Maintain proper and adequate bar setup before, during, and after shifts
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment during all shifts
- Organize and maintain bars and storerooms, including stocking and cleaning
- Remember, recite, and promote menu items and hotel services
- Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner and interact with the public
- Know and adhere to guidelines for serving alcohol with care
- Convey hotel activities to guests
- Refill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicals
- Operate a glassware washing machine
- Refill ice bins and beer bins utilizing ice machines
- Maintain proper inventory of products
Requirements
- Any combination of education and training that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- AES license
