About This Role

The Sales Associate Team Leader will deliver exceptional customer service, manage sales transactions, and maintain store cleanliness and stocking. This role also involves assisting with shift changes and ensuring compliance with security procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide fast, efficient service
  • Process customer sales using an electronic cash register, including handling money, giving change, refunds, and exchanges
  • Assist with shift changes by counting money in the cash drawer
  • Process specialty products like money orders, credit card purchases, and lottery sales
  • Check identification for restricted sales
  • Replenish and clean food service supplies and equipment
  • Clean all store areas, including counter tops, floors, windows, restrooms, and parking lots
  • Stock shelves and coolers, rotate merchandise, remove damaged items, and price goods
  • Check in vendor deliveries according to company guidelines
  • Order merchandise
  • Complete all necessary training evaluations and documents and provide feedback on the training program
  • Monitor cash levels and security procedures

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
