The Line Cook prepares food orders according to standard recipes, ensuring quality and timeliness. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean workstation, managing inventory, and adhering to safety and sanitation procedures for a casino entertainment company.
Responsibilities
- Cook orders in a timely manner according to memorized standard recipes
- Monitor food production to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain inventory of station and order stock
- Receive and prepare food orders
- Coordinate orders for pick-up
- Maintain cleanliness of work station and storage areas at all times
- Control waste by monitoring proper rotation, storage, and quantity
- Consistently apply established safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience as a cook
- Ability to stand and/or walk for duration of shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds
- Ability to reach, grasp, bend, kneel, and twist at the waist
- Ability to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience as a cook.
