About This Role

The Line Cook prepares food orders according to standard recipes, ensuring quality and timeliness. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean workstation, managing inventory, and adhering to safety and sanitation procedures for a casino entertainment company.

Responsibilities

  • Cook orders in a timely manner according to memorized standard recipes
  • Monitor food production to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain inventory of station and order stock
  • Receive and prepare food orders
  • Coordinate orders for pick-up
  • Maintain cleanliness of work station and storage areas at all times
  • Control waste by monitoring proper rotation, storage, and quantity
  • Consistently apply established safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience as a cook
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for duration of shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to reach, grasp, bend, kneel, and twist at the waist
  • Ability to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience as a cook.
