Aviation Parts Specialist

About This Role

Impact PSA Airlines' operations as an Aviation Parts Specialist by fulfilling maintenance staff's parts requests and needs. This role involves ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment to support the maintenance department.

Responsibilities

• Ship, receive, and store HAZMAT materials, requiring HAZMAT certification during initial training
• Properly record, issue, and receive incoming and outgoing parts/assemblies
• Maintain the M&E inventory computer system to current status and report inconsistencies
• Maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and solvents
• Perform stock transfers and physically move stock between locations
• Properly receive and issue parts via the M&E inventory computer system
• Operate a forklift, requiring certification
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Stores Supervisor and/or Stores Manager or designee
• Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Ability to obtain HAZMAT certification
• Ability to obtain forklift certification

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry level position

Nice to Have

• Previous aircraft inventory experience
• Prior experience with management of HAZMAT materials
