Automotive Technician/Master Tech Apprentice

About This Role

Legacy Ford of Rosenberg is seeking a Master Tech Apprentice to train alongside experienced technicians or work in the Quick Lane department, based on skill level. This role offers a career path to become a Master Technician, with a focus on vehicle maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-point inspections on vehicles
• Assist and communicate with service advisors and Master Technicians on repair needs
• Rotate tires and check tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluid levels
• Lubricate parts as required
• Drain and refill engine oil, replace filters
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive shop culture
• Pursue ongoing training and development opportunities
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements

• 2+ years of mechanical experience
• Solid understanding of general automotive repair and maintenance
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of mechanical experience
