Automotive Technician

About This Role

Perform automotive repair and maintenance at a fast-growing dealership, utilizing diagnostic tools to ensure vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. This role involves diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and communicating with service advisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is required
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Clean driving record & valid driver's license
