About This Role

Lead and manage a sales team at a top-ranked Subaru dealership, driving vehicle sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. Recruit, train, and mentor sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and evaluate the performance of sales team members.
  • Ensure all sales targets are consistently met or surpassed.
  • Manage, mentor, and guide a team of Sales Professionals.
  • Motivate Sales Professionals daily to maintain high morale and enthusiasm.
  • Maintain an effective owner follow-up system that promotes repeat and referral business and enhances customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously update knowledge on product changes, features, accessories, inventory, and their benefits to customers.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction, understanding that business growth depends on delivering exceptional service.
  • Set personal and team goals aligned with dealership productivity standards and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Master techniques to overcome objections, confidently ask for the sale, negotiate pricing, complete sales or purchase agreements, and effectively present warranty, service, and financing options.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Sales Manager or Closer in automotive sales (only candidates with automotive sales experience will be considered)
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, supported by verifiable proof
  • Outstanding communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and motivational capabilities
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficient computer and internet skills
  • Ability to close sales confidently by asking for the sale and following through
  • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to train, manage, and build a cohesive and successful sales team
  • Professional appearance and a strong work ethic

Qualifications

  • Some post-secondary education (such as a degree, coursework, or certification)
  • At least 2 years of proven experience as an Assistant Sales Manager or Closer in automotive sales in a high-volume dealership environment, with prior supervisory or management experience.
